Katerina has over 12 years’ experience in product and process food safety and quality management in manufacturing, retail and certification businesses. Her expertise is in the areas of the implementation, training and auditing of food, quality, integrity, sustainability and standards. She has a Master’s degree in Hydrobiology and Microbiology with experience as a microbiologist, in quality management and product laboratory control in the food processing business as well as experience of managing large teams of employees.
She has worked in Bulgaria, Serbia and Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Latvia, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Poland and United Kingdom.
Katerina is currently working as an ISACert Lead auditor, Operations Manager and internal and external trainer at ISACert Bulgaria Ltd. She is responsible for the training of new auditors in the organization. She also delivers training programmes for food manufacturers covering a range of product and system food safety standards.
Katerina conducts audits and training programmes which meet the following standards: IFS, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP and RSPO.
