Angelie holds a masters and PhD degree in Food technology. She has more than 20 years of experience in the international food industry in the areas of Laboratory management, Process technology, QA management in factories and in storage/distribution. In these roles she gained a lot of experience with implementing and maintaining Food Safety and Quality Management systems.
She also holds over 5 years of experience in certification in her role as GFSI scheme manager for an international certification body. One of the key achievements was the development of numerous trainings and training a lot of auditors.
In 2017 she started her own business: Food Safety First - training, coaching and facilitation. She is a Lead Instructor for the FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Course.
Her passion is to work with the people behind the system. Her way of working can best be described as pragmatic and challenging at the same time
